About the Service
Buehler Decodes specializes in detailed build information for 1990 and newer Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models, with limited data going back to 1981. Each report is prepared from factory data* and delivered as paper documents so you have a permanent, physical record of how your car left the assembly plant.
The following genrations of F-body are supported:
Thirdgen (1990-1992 all, 1986-1989 Canadian cars including Players Challenge)
Fourthgen (1993-2002)
Fifthgen (1LE all, 2013 all, 2014/15 Z28/ZL1)
Sixthgen (1LE including ZL1 1LE)

Buehler Decodes has
The same/similar VIN/RPO data that other VIN decoding services have, and it is known there are gaps. Counts are based on the best available sources at this time.
All of the ASC WS6 records, but about 20% of the 2000 model year cars are missing.
A small amount of the SLP data, maybe 7%. Odds are not good we will have this for your car but if we do we will share. Y2Y is missing from this data, so it won't show as an RPO.
Build dates for fourthgens stop in themodel year 2001, so many 2001 and all 2002 cars will not have a build date. Fifth and sixth generation cars have build dates as do most thirdgen.
While there is a lot of overlap, this is not the GM build sheet and subtle differences can be expected.
